Michael Heighton, 26, prevented from climbing up the railings and balcony,
says, "The notice is rubbish." He's a wheelchair user and without this
access can't get to this particular floor. "People climb stairs,
escalators; insurance companies don't bother yet they're much more likely
to fall than I am. My hands grip whereas their feet can't." No official
comment was given but a member of the security staff said, off the record,
that he'd seen youngsters acting far more recklessly on the stairs.
