For the fist time in history disability
is being removed from our daily vision. Medicine is removing from
our experience a diversity of life, with 'diseases' removed an
homogeneous landscape of bodies is left. This project records
the physical motion of 'abnormal bodies'. Using motion capture
5 physically impaired people will be filmed 'living'. Their intimate
movements captured as they move using crutches, wheelschairs,
floor movements, bikes and unaided physical movements. Using actors
with Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Brittle Bones, et al. Sound
and motion will be recorded to simulate bathing, eating, shopping,
relaxing, arguing, having sex and much, much more ...
